Welcome to Garbhein Bed and Breakfast, our modern, very comfortable, slightly quirky home, nestling in what was the Cuilfail Hotel gardens in the village of Kilmelford at the head of Loch Melfort, 14 miles South of Oban on the A816

Garbhein  offers two very comfortable double rooms on the first floor, both with en suite shower rooms, television, and courtesy tray. Free WI FI throughout the house.

Patio doors from the dining room lead to a patio area where guests can enjoy sitting out on a pleasant evening.

There are two restaurants a short drive away or guests are welcome to bring back take away food , the dining room is set up in the evening with cutlery, crockery, glasses etc, tea and coffee provided.

Garbhein is directly opposite the Cuilfail Hotel immediately behind the wooden fence ( PLEASE NOTE :  sat nav may take you to the wrong end of the village )

Parking:

There is adequate private parking beside the house, bicycles and motor bikes can be kept under cover in our garage.

Alcoholic beverages:

Guests are welcome to bring their own tipple. Glasses, corkscrew, and ice can be provided.

Smoking:

Garbhein is a smoke free house. If you wish to smoke please use the patio area or the front porch

Pets:

We are very sorry, but we are unable to accommodate pets.

Boat trips :

There are a number of boat trip operators in the area. We recommend Venture West, who work out of Crinan Harbour, or Sealife Adventures who operate from Seil Island.
